Diving in Verde Island

Verde Island is an important diving destination with strong currents perfect for advanced divers. This island has waters that are very rich marine biodiversity; in fact. this is considered the most biodiverse area in the entire Coral Triangle. Some species you can expect to encounter include many threatened species, sea turtles, hawksbills, olive ridleys, and green turtles; humphead wrasses, giant groupers and giant clams. The Verde Island Passage is a 1.14-million-hectare passage with hundreds of different species and an abundance of corals.
