Diving in the Surin Islands

To the north of the Similan Islands you will find the Surin Islands, famous for their spectacular reefs and popular with professional divers. They have shallow dive sites too, which means beginners can also enjoy the array of marine life that takes in critters such as ghost pipefish and seahorses, larger trevallies and barracuda and even manta rays and whale sharks sometimes. You’ll see beautiful coral and swaying sea fans as well as boulders where fish hide out, you may even spot blacktip sharks and comical giant bumphead parrotfish.
