Diving in Panglao

Scuba diving in Panglao Island is a popular activity. This diving destination has many areas that are full of long coral covered walls teeming with an abundance of life, sloping reefs, and soft coral gardens. Dramatic walls, soft coral gardens, and beds of seagrass that provide nourishment to the many resident sea-turtles await you in the south of the region, in Balicasag island sanctuary. To the east, you will find Pamilican Island, an idyllic paradise renowned for its sloping reefs with soft corals and huge coral heads. To the north, you will find Cabilao island, famous for its passing whale sharks and steep walls covered in healthy corals.
