Diving in Padre Burgos

In the province of Southern Leyte you will find one of the Philippine’s most famous scuba diving destinations, Padre Burgos. This dive site boasts a variety of extremely healthy and undamaged hard and soft corals, large barrel sponges, walls, steep drop-offs, caves, and even a couple of wrecks. You will find high visibility and a variety of depths that go from 6 to 40 meters (19 to 131 feet). Marine life in Padre Burgos includes many fish, such as dwarf gobies, mandarinfish, numerous nudibranchs, big fish like black and white snapper, Napoleon wrasses, harlequin sweetlips, barracudas, trevallies, and steephead parrotfish.
