Diving in Oosterschelde

As mentioned, cuttlefish mating season is the big draw here but area acts as a spawning place for many underwater inhabitants of the North Sea such as squid and sea horses. The water temperature dictates when each species comes to reproduce here. Due to the tidal conditions diving is only possible for a small amount of time each day. This means that diving here can be very difficult dive for inexperienced divers and, also that when the tides are right to dive, it can be a little crowded.
