Diving in the Lower Keys

The Lower Keys in Florida are a group of small islands and a popular destination that include the world-famous Key West up to the beautiful reefs of Marathon. This dive site has abundant beautiful reefs and amazing wrecks. Divers can’t miss the world-famous wreck of Key West, the Vandenburg, as well as the beautiful reefs of Looe Key, and Sand Key. Most dive sites in the Lower Keys are reachable through local charter boats. If you plan on going wreck diving, we recommend you have both the Wreck and Deep Diving certifications. It’s also recommended that you come prepared with your Enriched Air Nitrox certification, as most boats offer Nitrox.
