Diving the Little Brother Island

Little Brother Island sits to the southeast of its bigger brother. Surrounded by deep walls, the northern point instead slopes gradually away from the island before it drops to a deep underwater plateau. This 40m deep plateau is where some of the best shark diving in the Red Sea occurs. Silvertip and gray reef sharks patrol this area with occasional visits from the deeper dwelling hammerhead shark. Both the east and west walls offer great drift dives where the current runs north to south. Drift amongst the reef so full of small shoaling fish, you can hardly see the colorful hard and soft coral underneath.
