Diving in Havana

Amazingly preserved cars from the 1950s, friendly people, and delicious food await you in this history-rich city, Havana. Cuba’s capital city is also famous, for being an important wreck diving destination, with many different deep and shallow wrecks for every level of diver. You can’t miss Coral Island, a favorite dive spot among locals, as well as the Sanchez Barcastegui wreck. Shore snorkeling and reef diving are some of the favorite activities among divers in the region. Some fish species you can expect to find are yellowtail snappers, parrotfish, damselfish, and butterflyfish among many others.
