Diving in Giftun Islands

Set right off the coast of Hurghada, these islands in the Red Sea are easy to reach in about 45 minutes for day boat excursions. Here you dive to explore the wonderful reefs with a rainbow of soft coral as well as hard coral and dramatic drop-offs. The dreamy Giftun Islands are home to schooling fish including napoleon wrasse and parrotfish and you may even spot the buffalo head parrotfish, too. There are steep walls and drift dives that will delight more experienced divers and the colorful gorgonian fans are particularly dense here.
