Diving in the Addu Atoll

This southernmost Maldives atoll actually takes the country past the equator and into the Southern Hemisphere. The area is slightly different than a lot of Maldives dive spots in that it does not have the currents, caves or wealth of reef fish that you can find almost anywhere else in the country. However, if you are looking for huge fish, giant manta rays, large sharks, and big turtles as well as a number of shipwrecks, the furthest south atoll may be a spot that you will love to dive.
